smokarz
there are a few QSC amps on my local CL. i believe these are PRO equipments? quick question, can they be use in a home system? and what would be fair prices? these are the models offered. QSC PLX2402 and PLX3402 thanks!
wuzzzer
Yes, they are considered pro amps. They can be used in a home system and the PLX is generally the line from QSC recommended for home use. Sorry, can't help on the prices but there's always tons of PLX amps on eBay and you can check past auctions to see what they've sold for. Arky
I own a 2402. Sounds very nice. Back when I bought, if I had known what I was doing, I would have bought 2 more instead of my Outlaw 5 channel. I paid $600 new at Musicians Friend. Never even gets warm. Plenty of threads on these, search QSC.
smokarz
thanks guys. i did some quick read on the forums and seems like some nice reviews on the QSC. they are rated 400 watts per channel. is that really true? wouldn't it be too much for teh RF3s? thanks
russ69
The fan noise can be a problem in some set-ups and no 400 watts is not too much. Thanx, Russ
Speedball
I still run mine with the fan removed with no problems at all.[Y]
CECAA850
I've got 4 of them in my HT. Tremendously good sounding amps. I DID however have to swap the fans for quieter ones. I couldn't just disconnect them as they are inside a cabinet.
