Seethemusic
I have only one place were i will be able to set up my Lascalas, its a room the size of 11ftx19ft with 8ft ceilings. Should I even bother to try them there or just store them in my garage for now until I get a better place for them. If anyone has used them in a similar size room , let me know how it was. Thanks Mike
Coytee
I do not remember the measurements but I had my LaScalas (as well as a pair of EV's) in my college dorm. I would personally rather have them stuffed into my bathroom and able to use them as contrasted with stored in my garage sitting idle while I wait for a better place. Could you put them in front of the commode.....facing you? This way, when the wife yells out "what the heck was THAT noise" you can always blame it on the woofer. Thanks Mike Got Belles in the 12' x 16' x 7-9 long wall sloped ceiling room (and K'horns, Heresy's, etc.). Sorta' like Coytee's commode theory. But...... it works, and especially at lower SPL's . Sorta' like a recording studio monitor room.
Werner Enge
Few days ago we placed an Klipschorn 60th Anniversary in a room sized about 15x12 , powered by Aaron in a Bi-amping-Mode , Player is an OperaAudio Consonance Orfeo . All cables are Viablue . It works absolutely well - so , LaScala´s wouldn´t be a problem . see add pic : .
kaiser SET say
You know the very same thing was asked about running Paul's (Me Love's) K-Horns in this small room at the farmhouse in '06 but that was quickly dispelled[]

jtnfoley
Mine function very well as theater mains, beneath my projection screen. The room is 'L' shaped, with the screen wall being 13' wide... with 7'4" ceilings. The depth of the room is 23' from the screen wall, but as it's 'L' shaped it opens out after 12 feet. mark1101
11x19 is totally doable. That's not too small a room at all for lascalas.
kaiser SET say
I second Mark's opinion on the room being big enough[] Nice Avatar Marshall[Y] I'm pretty sure Seti and I are going to bring my LaScala's and HK670 to Hope, maybe we can hook them up in a walk in closet[] Nothing like 104db 1W X 1M in a near field set up to get yer Ya-Ya's out[<)]
The Dude
I don't have Lascalas(yet) but I have my Cornwalls in a 10' 6" x 12' 3" room and I have cranked it up pretty loud and it still sounds good. duder
neo33
I have had La Scalas in 10' x 12' room with 8' ceiling and it sounded fantastic. IMO, La Scalas go well in any room size.
Dennie
I agree with everyone else, that is not too small of a room. I have about the same size room and the La Scala's sound fantastic in it. Keep us posted, Dennie
