BigDogSB
I reviewed some old threads about the above topic and did not see a resolution, so I am opening this back up (plus it was in 2007). I just bought 2 KG4s for $100 (unbelievable deal) and I knew the 8" driver would need replacing. I can wait and search for a driver replacement on eBay, but I would prefer to replace it or have it repaired. It is making noise, but is not ripped or loose, so I believe it is the coil that is broken or something else. I am in Santa Barbara, CA, and am willing to drive, does anyone have: Suggestions for replacing or repairing; Similar replacement option (non-Klipsch, not the best idea though in my opinion); Authorized repair shop in Santa Barbara or L.A. area. Thanks.
