Great list, a little freakey how close most of those are to my tops. No idea of the DOREMI ... but I will look it up. I guess I need to find a copy of Foreigner 4 too as I can't remember that one.

I would toss in almost anything by Peggy Lee or Taj Mahal. I listen to those artists at least once every week or two.

I once used analog inputs from my player until I came up against this CD. The analog RCA inputs couldn't handle it and distorted audibly. I switched to HDMI (i.e., a new preamp) because of that, have since been smiling everytime I play this.

Pretty impressive solo piano, and after 3 1/2 years, still one of my favorites:

Chris, you might give a listen to David Lanz if you have not already. I was driving home once, heard a piano version (no words at all) of Whiter Shade of Pale... RACED inside the house to hit the record button and then called the station.

Does a nice version of the song but virtually all of his CD's are nice & laid back. I think he's a Naranda artist?

Saw him live when he came through Knoxville. Nice show....just a grand piano on stage.

You mean the last track on this CD?

I think that I've been been listening to this one since '88 when it came out on a local New Age station. That's also a favorite CD--but the recording quality is not in the same league as the Grusin album listed above. There is a big difference here.

Note that the "G" in GRP records stands for "Grusin".
