Ferrealitor
hey, i just got my 4.1s and i'm not getting any sound! here's what i've done: 1)i've correctly plugged all of the speakers into the sub. 2)i've plugged the DIN into the sub. 3)i've plugged the front and rear plugsinto my front and rear output plugs of my live 5.1. 4)i've plugged in the speakers. 5)i've installed the 4 speaker software for the live 5.1 ...no sound when the on/off button is depressed, i dont get any color led. but when it's not depressed there is a red light comes on. i've tried plugging in an external cd player into the speakers: no sound. i've plugged my old speakers into both the rear and front outputs of my soundcard. both work. i've tried plugging the 4.1s into the front output and tried outputing just two of the speakers: no sound! help! i really need help! and klipsh doesnt have a tech support number!! Paragon
Make sure when you insert the bare wires into teh spring clips that you do not insert them too far as the insulation will make contact and not the wire. Pull them out a little - use a flashlight if you have to -
Ferrealitor
thanks for replying paragon in the spring loadin thingies, there are metal bars poking out just a little bit. you think i should have the metal on the wires touching these bars instead of having them pushed all the way in? ...i just tried that, and there's still no sound. do anyone have any idea why the green light wont come on? it's strange that the red one comes on but the green one wont. thanks for your help. ------------------ awp
Gxcad
Are you sure its a traffic light, and not a stop sign? Also, make sure your computer is on. If that fails, try reading the directions.Hope that helps, -Gxcadc>
