jamesV
Run the Audyssey program and it will setup your speakers for you. Plus you might want to put this in the "Home Theater" section to get more answers. James

Groomlakearea51
FMI: Having two Onkyo AVR's (required equipment for living room and master bedroom because wives must have remote controls...), I found the best way to do it was to skip the Audessey setup (which actually is not bad for a start), and simply do it manually while listening to a 5.1 music source, or a CD, etc. There are certain nuances in the music/ sound, and certain things about your hearing (including what you like and don't like) that the Audessey cannot compensate for. besides, it's fun to try something and see what you get. How do you do it manually? With an outboard parametric EQ unit on each channel?
