ethic
I don't know a lot about computer-sound stuff. What's the deal with "Digital?" Someone asked me if my new speakers (ProMedia 4.1) were 'digital,' but I didn't know what to tell them. On the back of my soundcard (SB Live 5.1), there's a plug-hole-thing that says "digital." What exactly would I use this for? How would I use it with my PM41s? Can I use it with my PM41s? I read the FAQ, but I didn't understand what it said about a seperate decoder. Where would I get one? What exactly would I get? Thanks a lot.
ethic
Okay, I'm guessing I would need this thing: http://www.klipschonline.com:80/store/product.asp?dept%5Fid=3&pf%5Fid=034 How exactly does this work, though? Do the speakers plug into this, then this plug into the soundcard (or DVD player/game console/etc)? Does anybody have this? Would you recommend it? justin_tx_16
no need for the dd-51 unless you want more than your computer connected to thes peakers, which are analog, no real advantage to digital speakers, they are all eventually analog, unless your ears can decode 11010110101010101101010001001001 ------------------ -justin SoundWise Support A technical help site created by me and my fellow Klipschers I am an amateur, if it is professional; ProMedia help you want email Amy or call her @ 1-888-554-5665 or for an RA# 800-554-7724 ext 5 Klipsch Home Audio help you want, email support@klipsch.com or call @ 1-800-KLIPSCH RA# Fax Number=317-860-9140 / Parts Department Fax Number=317-860-9150s>
jonpratt
"11010110101010101101010001001001" that kinda sounds like the intro to Duran Duran's Rio.
