jacksonbart
Ok, in the US we have Christmas or Chanukah holiday music, we have New Years Eve or Rosh Hashanah music. There is even some Halloween traditional songs. But what about Thanks Giving. Anyone associate certian songs with this Holiday or perhaps I missed some obvious ones you could help me find. colterphoto1
local radio stations around here always play the full version of Alice's Restaurant, you know with the circles and the arrows and the four-part-harmony. But we're in the Midwest so who knows if this is really proper or not. The Massacre happened on Thanksgiving you know.

Don't forget the twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy photographs Yes Arlo is definately a Thanksgiving day tradition up here as well...Even though we seem to have been discovered first, but don't get me started on that [H]

rplace
After the dinner is done and the table cleared you simply can't beat gathering around the fireplace and throwing on the fist Dead Kennedys LP; Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables. Let's Lynch the Landloard and Holliday in Cambodia are two of my family's favorites.

sputnik
Has anyone ever heard this one? Over the river and through the wood To Grandfather's house we go. The horse knows the way To carry the sleigh Through white and drifted snow. Over the river and through the wood -- Oh, how the wind does blow! It stings the toes And bites the nose, As over the ground we go. Over the river and through the wood To have a first-rate play. Hear the bells ring, Ting-a-ling-ling! Hurrah for Thanksgiving Day! Over the river and through the wood, Trot fast, my dapple gray! Spring over the ground Like a hunting hound, For this is Thanksgiving Day. Over the river and through the wood, And straight through the barnyard gate. We seem to go Extremely slow -- It is so hard to wait! Over the river and through the wood -- Now Grandmother's cap I spy! Hurrah for fun! Is the pudding done? Hurrah for the pumpkin pie!
