edwinr
My brother and his family live in the Gold Coast - not far from the flooding in Brisbane. They're fine, but the impact of the floods is impacting on everyone up there. It'll take years before Queensland recovers. Unfortunately, the long-range forecast is for a lot more rain during the next 6 months. The worst may be yet to come. I live near Canberra which is about 14 hours drive away. We had minor flooding a few weeks ago. The power of water in full flight is awe inspiring.

DU73
Thanks Tarheel, I am fine and out of harms way, though the floods have been devastating to the affected areas. I have not posted in a while, just been very busy and have not been on line much these days.
