Moderators dtel Posted February 5, 2011 Moderators Share Posted February 5, 2011 We could use more of that kind of thinking, and patriotism.
BLSamuel
I've reposted that a couple of times on FaceBook. Red was not only very funny but also a very wise, generous, and classy guy. I think I saw him at the Indiana State Fair as a small child and then at football homecoming in college as a sophomore. Knew all the punchlines and still laughed my butt off. toddvj
I must've missed the punchline.
Mallette
Muscian and composer, too. Not a lotta people know that... "Red's White and Blue March." Great band tune I played in high school and college. Just thinking about him tucking his hands under his arms and saying "There's these two seagulls, see? Gladys and Gertrude..." brings a smile and a tear. Good night, and God bless, Red... Dave
