Zen Traveler Posted February 17, 2011 Share Posted February 17, 2011 Fwiw, I prefer converting 5.1 to 7.1 using direct radiating speakers and am considering purchasing an additional pair of RF-7s side surrounds to match my RB-75s in the rear...That being said, I have a uniquely configured room and sit parallel, within 4 ft of my SS and listen to ALOT of multichannel music. Right now I am re-experimenting with an additional pair of RB-75s in place of my RF-3s (which were raised 10" off the ground to the same height as my RF-7s) and if I still prefer the 3's will try and find the 7s at a good deal locally....YMMV.
