m00n
I am looking at a web site for a local dealer and they are selling the RS-7s cheaper than the RS-3IIs. I call to confirm this, and it is indeed correct. Basically I just want a sanity check here. Klipsch lists the RS-7 at $999.00 a pair and the RS-3II for $550.00 a pair. Now that tells me the RS-7 is a better speaker right? Oh hell. If this is indeed correct, I am soooOOOOooo glad I have not gotten my surrounds yet because I will upgrade to them and get some money back! m00n
GAWD DAMN IT! For the last three hours, I have been impatiently waiting to get off work so I could go exchange the RS-3II's for the RS-7. I was looking at the printout I made, then all of a sudden, out of know where, I see the word Each! For the life of me, I don't know how I could have missed that. It's right there too. I feel like such a fool! For three hours, I have practicly been doing the happy dance in my cube. Now I am doing the hang yer head low mope! ------------------ Internet Software Engineer: Will code for HT upgrades. the m00n system RF-3II Front floors RC-3II Center RS-3II Surrounds RSW-12 Subwoofer Harman Kardon AVR 520 Toshiba SD 3205 DVD Samsung 27" Flatscreen c> Microsoft XBOXc> f> This message has been edited by m00n on 04-19-2002 at 05:58 PM
GeorgeC
m00n, I feel your pain! I've made goofs like this before. I know it's painful to hear now, but the RS-7 is a heck of a lot better, as you'd expect. The RS-3s are very good, but the 7 is in another league, in my opinion. chuckears
It should be illegal to sell speakers by "each", except for centers and subs...
