jorre
Hello everybody, I obtained 4 SR-70 speakers last week ,part of HPS4000 system (for free !). 2 are OK ; 1 has a damaged cone and the other a toasted woofer voice coil. I think the woofers were made by eminence but maybe a klipsch model would suit also. Woofer markings are:12751 8 ohm 67-8851 G5 Can anyone confirm this?,should i take the risk to recone with a K-24 recone? Many thanks in advance,i know you like pics so i did include them. jorre
I want to thank everybody for the quick and big response to my questions. Think a have to change my profile to a female called "Nana" from France. Pro audio and electronics is more than rebuilding crossovers and sell them at high prices. What a waste of time....Again.. moray james
Find a local recone shop with a solid reputation and have them recone it. They will be able to match it up closed enough. If you tell them you have a working one they can measure the good one to insure a good match. If you are realy concerned recone both woofers so they match. Best regards Moray James.
