Bluehusky Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 In the mood to add some more music to my collection. Prefer not to shop at the local Best Buy, rather a quality websites. Especially one that includes decent reviews of the recording to help in deciding to purchase. Hoping to find hi-quality and/or Master recordings, I enjoy a bit of Classical, alot of Jazz & Blues as well as Rock. Right now in the mood for some Dave Bruback recordings. Welcome all suggestions. Regards, Jeff Quote
Groomlakearea51 Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Maybe not "high end", but check amazon. Put in the title and go through all the pages listed and sometimes you'll see some old high quality recordings from amazon's approved vendors. Quote
sunburnwilly Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Amazon for new and used . Also pawn shops and used record/cd stores . Quote
TNRabbit Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 I agree with the two posts above; Amazon.com is a fantastic place to get standard CDs, LPs, and SACD/DVD-A titles. There are a few rare titles that will cost you big $$ but most are very reasonable. Quote
Rivernuggets Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Half.com is also a good place for used. Brought to you by the same people doing Ebay, you use your Ebay account username and password. Don't worry, this is not an auction site. I find myself going back and forth between Half.com and Amazon to find the best used deals. Amazon will have more reviews. Quote
Boxx Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Never pass up a chance to stop at a garage sale or estate sale.... sometimes you can find a real gem or more.... cheap... Quote
justonemore Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 The above suggestions are all good. I've also bought quite a few from cd universe. They have a large selection. Quote
