John McAlpin
Would anyone like to help me decide between the KLF-20 and the Heresy?? I'm looking to buy the best speaker I can now, and upgrade my Onkyo reciever soon. I listen to rock mostly, but if you ask my wife she'll say I only listen to the Grateful Dead. I won't argue. I plan more listening trips soon. Thanks.
rowooo
John......Have you narrowed down your choices to those two particalar models or are you still open to different KLIPSCH models? If you have narrowed it down to those two I'd be interested in what your reasons were. Later....................
JohnA
The KLF-20s will have a lot more low bass than the Heresy. They are moderately more efficient, too. John
MirkoDOG
Klipsch KLF 20 would be the way to go.. My Father has had the herseys and I have listened to them all my life(a great speaker)! After listening to the KLF 20s..well, let me just say it is those speakers that stand in my living room.
jdm56
For what it's worth, (keeping in mind you get what you pay for), I'd go with the heresys. For no reason other than I'm a klipsch heritage FOOL, fool! Also, in 20 years, heresys you buy today will still be an object of desire as an audio classic. The KLF's probably won't, regardless of how good they are. If you want more boom, get you a good sub! -- Disco Ruby
MirkoDOG
The best advise I can give: Go and Listen for yourself. If you go with.."you get what you pay for": KLF 20 MSRP 1500.00 Herseys MSRP 1100.00 Why get a sub, when you can get a speaker that accurately produces the lows like the KLF 20? JCturboT
John, Don't know if you have a Tweeter Etc. around your area but the KLF20s were marked down to $999.99 just recently in the MA. area. If this is still so- this might be your deciding factor in your speaker purchase. Jeff
