Tony Reed
I wonder if there's an app out there that will assist in designing a horn on computer and saving it as a DXF. If I can just get the parts (top, bottom & sides) to a DFX, I've got it made. Any suggstions. Thanks, Tony
Edgar
Pretty much any CAD program will create a DXF. I use TurboCAD and, frankly, don't even bother with DXF unless I need to transfer the drawing to another person. As for the design of the horn itself, a little mathematical knowledge plus Hornresp will get you started. Greg
Tony Reed
I have ProE and AutoCad, I just need help with "the math". Thanks, Tony
gistofit
search out Dr. WHO.......as far as speakers go.....just about as mathy as you can get. He is pretty busy with work right now but he should be able to help you out. He did the math on this himself. and it wasn't just a basic math situation. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/149329.aspx?PageIndex=
