K-43 and K-44

Can you expand a bit more?

I thought the K33 was the stock Khorn/LaScala/other driver for residential use, rated to 100 (or near it) watts max.

The K43 was made for the SAME speakers (perhaps principly the LaScala?) for industrial use (theater?) and was rated at 200 watts.

I'm not familar with the theater Khorn (the TSCM??), I would have thought they would have used the K43 in there. Evidently that's a wrong presumption?

What is different about theater and PA use?

Cool thanks the K-44's look like they have a little smaller magnet than the K-43's so will they take as much power or not?

Magnet size has no bearing on power handling, only BL when comparing magnets of the same composition. Power handling is limited by one of two ways. Either thermal as in the voice coil separating, or by displacement when the air load on the driver affords displacement beyond Xmax at a given voltage and frequency.
