Another 80's Denon Integrated Amp

I acquired another Denon integrated amp to my collection. For those of you that might easily overlook one of these gems, you have to get one. This is my third 80's/early 90's Denon PMA and let me tell you, they will literally rock your Quartets, Fortes, and Heresys(have not tried the Chorus). These have got to be the punchiest midfi integrated amps you can come across. I am totally blown away by their speed, neutrality, and detail. They are commonly found on C-list, A-gon, and Ebay, for $80.00 to $200.00(condition and model considered). If anyone has any of the mentioned speakers, do yourself a favor and get one of these Denons.

You guys are welcome to stop by for a demo so you too can be enlightened.[:D]

While these PMA-2000R's cost a little more, I have always wanted to try one, and I just missed out on one a couple of months back. They are said to be a great amp!! Yes

Rick,

I almost pulled the trigger on a PMA-2000IVR, which is the early 2000's updated model, for $350.00 about a year ago. It weighs in at a back breaking 52.7 pounds. Pretty hefty for an integrated that is "only" 80 watts/channel.

Bill, they definitely look to be a sweet amp at the prices you can find them for in the used market (you don't often see them for sale though)...
