They are easier to place and have good deep bass for movies. From listening to other subs, the problem I have with them is for music they are not all that musical, after hearing the 1502 or 1802 I realized how muddy the spud really sounds, I don't know if other Danelys sound like this or not. Talking with someone who has the same design but with the bigger drivers, (can't remember what Danely called it) they had the same thoughts I did. A little boomy and muddy compared to a good sub, I didn't notice until I heard it compared to other subs, but good for movies it seems.
