snarisi
I have La Scala's as my front speakers and Heresys as my rear speakers. I need to replace my Mirage center speaker. How will the Reference series match with what I have? I have limited room in my cabinet (and apartment). The RC-52 might work, but would be a tight fit. Any thoughts? wuzzzer
If you have LaScala fronts you'll want to use another LaScala, a Cornwall, a Heresy or not have a center speaker.

Welcome to the forum! +1 what wuzzzer says. Bell Klipsches also make nice centers for LaScalas. The smallest is the Heresy.
Chris A
How will the Reference series match with what I have? I have limited room in my cabinet (and apartment). The RC-52 might work, but would be a tight fit. Any thoughts? I would not try any of the Reference series; another Heritage series speaker or no center at all would be my recommendation (speaking from experience). A single Heresy (standing upright, NOT turned on its side) is the smallest speaker that can be placed in the center and still be able to integrate with La Scalas on each side, but note that the Heresy's midrange/tweeter will not be at the same height as the La Scalas, and that will create issues. Either you raise the Heresy up and fill the cavity beneath it (which will take away from its bass response) or you live with the center speaker being lower than the fronts, which is even more objectionable, IMHO. I'd actually recommend another La Scala or a Belle for a center - replacing any consoles or equipment racks that you might have there already. I'd move all your electronics to one side of the room and set the TV on top of the center (assuming that you live in an apartment where you cannot mount the TV on the wall). Just remember: you asked... [^o)] Chris
