brw01162
Working on a living room 5.1 system. Already have RF-62, RC-62, Sub-12 and now need surrounds working on an Onkyo TX-SR608. The room is 19'x13'. Just bought the house so cash flow is low but still would like a decent system. I thought about starting with RS-41 and upgrading later but if they can't keep up with the rest of the system why bother? Any suggestions? Thanks. mustang guy
Some like rear speakers that are the same size as the mains. For movies, a smaller speaker is adequate. Check Ebay, cause those RS speakers pop up there all the time used.
superedge88
Find a used pair of rsx-5's and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
willland
Find a used pair of rsx-5's and you'll be pleasantly surprised. I would have to agree with Superedge88 on this one. Before I moved my RSX-4's to the bedroom to complete my RVX-42 system, I used them as surrounds with my RF-63/RC-64 combo and they did a very commendable job. I am sure the RSX-5's would sound even better. http://sanangelo.craigslist.org/ele/2698015900.html Bill

Uts
Should I consider RB-51s? i have the same front 3 as you, & have the 51's in back. the RB-51's work well as rears. just keep in mind that they are rear ported, so you may need to put them on stands.
