ChipByrd
I just received my ti tweeter diaphragms and crossovers for my Chorus speakers. Thanks Bob C. I won't be able to install them till Monday, which just happens to be when my Cambridge Audio 650a should arrive. I am psyched! This is my first foray into high (er) audio. This sight has been immensely helpful--thanks.
Dr Morbius
Let us know how it goes, and send some pictures also!
Cal Blacksmith
Yes, please do report back with pics, those TI tweets really help a lot to open the top end, I have them on my Cornwalls, Quartets, Fort'e1s and my sons KG 5.5s they helped all the speakers. USNRET
I might suggest that you install the Tis and listen on your current amp since you know your system. I know, I know, hard NOT to throw new speakers mods and amp in at the same time but this way you know what caused what difference if any; just saying....... ChipByrd
Thanks USNRET, that sounds like good advice. Unfortunately, my receiver is a low end 7.1 Onkyo that is about 4 years old. So I am not sure that receiver would do the speakers justice. As I said, this is the first time I have had audio products beyond the cheap ones you get at the big box stores. But I can see why so many people get juiced about it.
