jason str
Use the Dayton, the SI driver will not work any better and the high roll surround is nearly impossible to mount without the surround rubbing on the baffle leading to failure. The Dude
I understood that but the Dayton is perfect in that enclosure. The one i posted the link to or is it a different one?
The Dude
Coming back to this, but may look at the picowrecker. http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-um15-22-15-ultimax-dvc-subwoofer-2-ohms-per-coil--295-514?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=pla
CECAA850
I'm thinking THIS but I'd need to find the driver list in that massive thread at avsforum to be sure. Or it may have been THIS one. More than likely the second one. If you look at the reviews on that driver they've been mentioned in F-20 and THT builds. If you're a member at avs, PM lilmike. He's a great guy and very helpful. My money is on the second link however.
jason str
The HF (High Fidelity) Dayton is the model you want, either the 10", 12" or 15" depending on how wide the cabinet is built.

I have seen it pop up a couple of times. 5 hours ago, jason str said: depending on how wide the cabinet is built I would prefer to build as wide needed for the 15". I didn't realize there were different widths. Guess I need to sit down with a pot of coffee and read the whole thread.

jason str
If space is limited a smaller driver can be used, frequency response will not be the same and output will be less compared to the 15" version.
Pete H
Dayton Audio RSS390HF-4 15" Reference This is the driver I used in my builds.
