Cinema F-20 build thread

At this point I just HAD to set the top panel on just to see how it would look. I wanted to put something in the pic for reference so I stuck a 5 gallon pain next to it. I also wanted to make a comment about the "work platform" I used. I went to Harbor Freight and bought a $17.00 furniture dolly rated at 1000lbs to set the sub on. I can spin and move the sub effortlessly around the garage. An absolute necessity when your wife wants to park inside every night.

Thanks for documenting! It's fun to watch it go together. I should have gotten a dolly like that years ago. Would have saved my butt and my back more than once.

$17.00 well spent as far as I'm concerned. The only problem I had with it was after the box was built and I started planing and sanding, I had to chase the box around the garage!!! I ended laying some rugs out and taking it off the dolly when the finish work started and had my son help me turn it everytime I'd work another side.

please make sure you sign and date the sub, somewhere inside the driver compartment (since I won't be painting in there).

Will do, hadn't thought of that. There's a bunch of pencil marks and writing on the inside already but mostly scribble. There's even some penciling on the outside but I knew it'd get covered up.

Back to the pics.

This next pic wasn't taken to show how sloppy I am, most could tell all ready without me pointing it out. I just wanted to show what good "squeeze out" looks like. Air leaks are a no-no with any sub. If you have a good bead of adhesive all along the seam after clamping or screwing, you know your good to go.
