This makes much more sense than what I'd heard of very large bearded men on a type of shoe allowing them to slide on frozen ponds, hitting either a frozen turd patty or one another with a curved stick and hoping the turd would land in a big fishing net. If it didn't they would all gather 'round and beat the livin' shite out of each other. A sport could probably be made of this if someone put forth the effort to think it through.

LADIES OF THE EVENING:

Puttanesca sauce, most often employed for pasta, originated in Naples.  It is made from tomatoes, black olives, capers, anchovies, onions, garlic, and herbs, usually oregano and parsley but sometimes also basil.  It is an easy sauce, briefly cooked, and is very fragrant and spicy.  Puttanesca translates as “in the style of the *****.”  The name derives from the Italian word puttana which means *****.  Puttana in turn arises from the Latin word putida which means stinking.

this is a nice savory meal.  too be finished off with Mellon and wine !!

Ok, it is time to get this place on track.............and I thank you Mike for your hard work in the kitchen putting that great sauce and pasta dish together....  I am just doing up a simple mixture for the baked potatoes.....

your killing me...I have watermelon... but no honey dew or cantaloupe..

but that would be wrapped in prosciutto with some reduced balsamic

drizzle...and you know that I don't drink....

 

or better yet I will drink some wine..if you eat some prosciutto !!!
