tblake10
Running this 1960's tube receiver with khorns right now. A friend gave me this. His dad bought it when he was in the service in the 60's. Have all the documentation when he bought it. Even the brochures and everything he was looking at. The 1800 is basically an 800c but was made to sell overseas is my understanding. Anyway I had Craig at nosvalves to restore this for me. It works great. I've accidently left it on for about 36 hrs one time, no problem. It runs dead quiet w/khorns. Put my ear on the grils and cannot hear a thing. Nothing. Impressive work by Craig.
tblake10
...should have said it is dead quiet with volume turned down. With volume turned up it plays music!

JJkizak
In those days we would purchase Fisher stuff by the pallet full. At that time it was the best buy for the buck. JJK
