Suggestions for 5.1 Micro Speakers

I have to replace a bose setup for a friend, she likes the size of whats there, but they won't work when I put in a real receiver. Looking for suggestions. Thanks

They are the "newest" incarnation of the Quintets. My first set of Klipsch speakers were the Quintet III's and they were super little speakers. Very dynamic(for their size).

Or better yet, this Cinema 6 system.

Thanks for the suggestions, look like some decent deals, am I right thinking Quintets will out perform either of the HD Theater sets? My buddy has the Energy Take Classic system and I must admit it sounds amazing for the size and price. Also, these took an editors choice award in 2011 from CNET

My Paradigm Millenia 1 5.1 speaker system sure rocks. Just read the reviews on them.

Don't know if $1300 is out the price range or not.

I have the Klipsch HD 500 that I have can sell. Cosmetically and functionally a 10/10. $250 shipped. I had thes as a second HT but no longer need them. This system sounds great and the sub is great for a small to medium size room.

Thanks for all the help, she wants only new stuff so I went with the HD 500 even though they wouldn't give me yesterdays discount. I like used, but it's for someone else (thanks for the offer Derrick).

If you can't afford the Klipsch Gallery speakers, you might look at the Polk Blackstone TL2's. I've heard good things about them, and they are under $100 each. 125hz and up... They will own Bose.
