NOZ
I am going to get a new sub. I've seen most of you sound freaks(like me), have chosen the SVS ULTRA, where can I see some specs, price, etc.. Being from the year round snow covered city of Toronto, (go leafs go), I have never heard of or seen the SVS sub. I have R-7's, all around, but not the sub. It's a velodyne, not bad, but no RSW-15. Where can I see the SVS specs? Am I better off with the Klipsch sub or the SVS? thanks for any replies Sean

kenratboy
Except for Canadian shipping, you cannot go wrong with SVS. ------------------ Receiver: Sony STR-DE675 CD player: Sony CDP-CX300 Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U Speakers: JBL HLS-610 Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8 Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs Yes, it sucks, but better to come. KLIPSCH soon! My computer is better than my stereo!
Seb
NOZ with the shipping and taxes and CAN/US exchange rates, the SVS aren't as great a deal as for US folks. granted, they're still amazing subs at the right price, but not as much of a steal. consider looking into Paradigm subs, I don't know how many PW-2200 you could get for the price of one CS-Ultra, but I know I got mine for $670 plus tax, so you could probably get a few, and maybe obtain better performance than the SVS for the same price. just throwing an idea at you, that's all! ------------------ http://members.fortunecity.com/sebdavid - go laugh at my crappy website/equipment http://www.dvdprofiler.com/mc.asp?alias=Sebdavid - go laugh at my puny little DVD collection

Seb
got it at a shop called Stereo Plus in Brossard, South Shore of Montreal, part of a bigger chain of electronics store. those guys are real dealers. the first two prices I was quoted at other stores were 1000 and 900... needless to say I jumped on the occasion! ------------------ http://members.fortunecity.com/sebdavid - go laugh at my crappy website/equipment http://www.dvdprofiler.com/mc.asp?alias=Sebdavid - go laugh at my puny little DVD collection
