Scrappydue
I tried to read through this again. Did I miss the original room dimensions?
beatbrother
This week, the walls will be treated. Carpet will be placed on it, so then it is finished for 99% [] So far, I have been watching lots of movies and my impression on the soundsystem .... : ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !! Really. It was a great choice going for the Klipsch THX set. I do however didn't had or listened to another set to compare it to but I have no regrets about it. It's just perfect and if I had to start all over, I would go for the THX set again without hesitation. :[D]
picky
beatbrother: This morning was my first look at your thread. Regarding your entire basement, I must say that I am truly amazed by the cleanliness of your designs and the quality of your execution. Your basement must be enormous! What are your theater's dimensions? Thank you for taking the time to share your progess photos with us. I'm a D700-owner, too! (love it!) Nice work and the best of luck to you, sir! -Glenn

Shodrewken
Great looking HT man! I'm not sure if you already mentioned it or if it should be assumed, but did you go with the matching Klipsch THX subs for this system or did you use something else? Shodrewken
That's so awesome! A dedicated HT room is gonna be a requirement once the wife and I start looking for a place of our own. It's great seeing other peoples setups on the forum, it helps give me some ideas that I would like to do, when the time comes. So when it was all said and done, how long did it take to finish your theater?

Rippyman
How about some color photos? The B&W photos don't do the room justice.
beatbrother
These are no B&W photos. It looks like it, but its not. But I used 3 main colors and they are giving a black-white feel to it. - Black for the ceilings - light-grey for the carpet on the floor - grey (antracite) for the walls. (it has a slight warm brown tint in it)

Rippyman
I noticed that your component rack is located in the HT room? Are you not concerned with fan noise? Also curious, what size screen is that?
