liebherr954 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I thought this may be a fun thread to see what people are watching and give others some ideas of what to rent or buy. Ill start with this. I really enjoyed this movie excellent picture and audio, a pretty good story too. 1 Quote
GBShade684 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 It's been a few months now. I've moved into a home I bought from one I was renting. Unfortunately the WAF for my speakers in the living room has droped into negative numbers, so no fun loud movies[]. But they will make a triumphiant return soon!!! Quote
Vital Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I thought it was OK. The audio/video was good but the acting was lacking. Quote
kapsnb01 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Episode V...one of my all-time favorites. Quote
derrickdj1 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Not a box office hit but, a very good picture and worth a watch. Quote
derrickdj1 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 A decent movie for watching when you run out of block busters and want something that you have not seen. Oh, the pic did not showing up for Age of the Dragons: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_the_Dragons Quote

tmassey Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Excalibur... After reading some of the shining reviews on Amazon, I decided to give it a shot. It was absolute garbage! The main actors are far and away over-acting their parts while the extras are very noticably just walking through the motions. It was the 2nd time in my entire life I couldn't sit through a movie. I understand it's a low budget movie and was made about 30 years ago, so I can overlook the poor SFX, but there is no excuse for the director to never say 'CUT!'. Quote
Heritage_Head Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Would love to see a review of the movies listed for picture and sound also from a scale of 1 (lowest) to 10 (best). I just watched the mummy movies 1-3. I gave all of them high marks on sound and picture. The 3rd one has one of the best pictures I have ever seen from a non-animated movie. Highly recommend them. I give the first 2 a 7 for picture and 8 for sound. The 3rd one I give 10 and 10. 1 Quote
