_benjammin
I need a new 2-channel (2.1) receiver. I had been using an old AVR for my RB-61s and subwoofer but it has been having power issues and want to replace it with an older, phono receiver. But, can I get a sub out signal from the tape out? Or speaker line level out? Here's the Kyocera R461 I'm considering: I really don't know much about this, any advice or opinions are greatly appreciated. _benjammin
After googling some, I've read that I can run two pairs of wire from each speaker out, 1 pair to the sub speaker wire in and 1 to each speaker. So I guess I answered my own question, I think this will work. Still wondering if the pre-out or tape (rec) out can be used for the sub. Now I just need the craigslist poster to reply. _benjammin
Well I got it all hooked up and love, love, love it! I didn't realize it has A&B speaker outs so I just used the B for the SW-450 sub and A for the RB-61s. My records sound much better and the tuner on the reciever is great.
