oldmako Posted January 3, 2013 Share Posted January 3, 2013 I picked up a pair of Black Forte II's for $100 bucks but was unable to audition them. I figured at that price, what the hell? Unfortunately it turns out that one of them is ill. One woofer has an annoying anomaly. While not constant, on some pieces and at certain volume it buzzes. Bummer. These speakers really tie the room together. Klipsch sells a replacment but being the cheap (and green) sort that I am, I would consider harvesting a used one.
