sivadselim Posted January 28, 2013 Share Posted January 28, 2013 Assuming you mean the receiver's crossover setting, you set that based upon the capabilities of your speakers, particularly your front 3 speakers. mustang guy Posted January 28, 2013 Share Posted January 28, 2013 As Siva stated, and make sure you leave the LFE setting, if you have one, and the standard 120HZ. What this means, is that if your front 3 are capable of 60 HZ, then set it at around 60 HZ. I usually make it a bit higher, like 65HZ in the case of 60. If you don't like the sound, try 70 HZ, etc... 80 HZ is the THX standard, but I like to hear a capable speaker rather than delegate all the bass to the sub(s).
