christ1
There is a pair of RS-52s for sale near me. If you read the description the speakers are brand new so they may be the RS-52ii surrounds, but the person may not know there is a generation difference. I might be able to help you out if the person will not ship. They come in original boxes based on the image so it would not be a big deal for me to ship. http://baltimore.craigslist.org/ele/3557854055.html
Coleman
I wonder if there would be that much of a difference in sound between the 52's and the 52ii's? Maybe someone will chime in and give their opinion
Moderators Youthman Posted January 31, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 31, 2013 Dude, snag those 52's. Great price. They are the original RS-52's from the looks of the grill. The new grills are shaped like a semi-circle. I used 52's with RF-83's and loved them.
Coleman
Just emailed the guy and got an out of office reply lol. He wont be back until Feb 4th. It also gave me a list of 5 other insurance agents I could contact and the secretarys name haha.
christ1
Now that I notice the grill, those are the RS-52s. I would be able willing to help you out if he does not ship.
Moderators Youthman Posted January 31, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 31, 2013 Hopefully he won't pull the ole "Oh $300 is for one speaker". If you can get brand new RS-52's in the original box for $300 + shipping, I would jump on that in a heartbeat. $350 for $1000 new speakers is a pretty sweet deal if you ask me. I've owned them and loved them. The RS-62's are better speakers but you will typically pay way more for them and although it's a nice improvement, it's not night and day between the RS-52 and RS-62's. Good luck.
