sullivan6595
Hello forum members. I am writing this to tell you all to be aware of 2 different email addresses that have been Red flagged by paypal for bad standing credit and fraudulent activity. both of them are ran by the same scammer(s). I am a very cautious buyer/seller and these turds tried to pull one over on me over the weekend but i knew what was going on from the start. i played into it letting them think they were going to get away with this. it started with a simple email with interest in what i was selling and after a few messages back and forth an arrangement was made. I live in NY and checked where their email address was coming from and it was in London, even though they claimed to be in Texas. they had some BS story for it and i played dumb leaving them to believe i was moving forward with this. they asked me for my paypal address and i told them i would send bill direct through paypal. a few minutes later i get an email back from them saying they sent it but i had to check in spam folder. i did it anyways even though i was in the middle of canceling everything. i wanted to see what the counterfeit paypal email address was, and sure enough it wasnt close. they claimed to have sent $1,700 to me even though invoice was $850. said i was to take the other half and send to (see agent name below with TX address) ..... i said "oh sure, i will do it right away". an hour passed and they emailed me asking how it was going. in that time i contacted paypal and reported it along with evry email sent between us. my last response to them was "did you really think i was going to send $850 to you? i don't think so, but i did send a full report to paypal and they are looking for you..BAD BOYS, BAD BOYS WHAT YA GONNA DO........SUCKA - I will wrap up with saying, be careful forum memebers and i know most of you are. to any who haven't seen this before, any time you are in a paypal transaction, a geuine one will be read as followed service@paypal.com <service@paypal.com> even if its 1 character off be cautious and if you had to dig it out of your spam folder, trash it NOTE: this incident didn't happen on this forum but iv'e heard whoever this person(s) are, will scour a lot of the high end audio/video forums. i hope this helps people to stay informed. below is the name i referred to earlier and the 2 email addresses associated with these scammers. they probably have more but those were the two they used with me.
