Escher
Hi folks, Heres the story - I'm the Media Ministries coordinator at Church. As such, I have to deal with all out AV and related items. So - We have - up in our attic, a few horn related goodies that I need to sell to raise cash for the department. We need new Mics and I'm hoping to fund the purchase with these items. Bottom line is - I dont know what they are worth, prices are all over the map on ebay. Frankly - I just want a fair price... and we can call it a donation if you'd like. Let your conscious be your guide. I'm happy to show them to whoever is interested - just get with me for a time. Bring some strong friends for the Sentry's - 'cause no way can I move them!! First up - an Altec Lansing 1803b horn. Its been up there for years and years. I think it was used in our old building back prior to 1980 or so. Looks to be in very good shape with only minor marks and no rust I can see. image by Christopher Purdy, on Flickr image_1 by Christopher Purdy, on Flickr image_2 by Christopher Purdy, on Flickr And a pair of these Sentry IVb's image by Christopher Purdy, on Flickr
DLOVE
WOW the Electro Voice Sentry's are in good shape exterior wise, if woofers and drivers for the mid and St-350 Tweet work it is a great sound system for church or small to mid size club. I worked with these back in the 70's, we used 36 of the folded horn Sub (16 per side) and modified a high frequency sub assembly made up of 1-mid horn you see with 4- St-350's 2-stacked on each side of the horn in a nice self contained case w/ lid. the name of the band was Aerosmith.
