dnmotion
I have a large 16ft x 22ft room that is wired for 5.1 surround home theater. I am mounting speakers elevated in each corner. I have owned for years a Klipsch SC-1 center channel, an SW-12 powered sub and a pair of SS-1 which I want to use. The center channel will be below the TV centered on the 22ft wall about 4 ft high. The SS-1s I think should be in the front corners (elevated about 7 ft up). The SW also probably in front on the floor. I need to buy 2 more speakers for the rear channels and looking for recommendations. These would mount in back corners about 7 ft high. I can buy a used pair of SS.5BK OR a pair of KB-15 Klipsch . Anyone have a recommendations? This will be powered by a new Yamaha RX-V573 Thanks in advance!
wuzzzer
The SS-1s are surround speakers and not intended for front speaker use. Use them as your surrounds and get a pair of bookshelf or floorstanding speakers for your fronts. It will sound significantly better.
