So, what's the story on Pilgrimage 2013??

Recommended Posts

It's nearly April and I can already taste June. It's been a long winter and I am ready for a road trip to a Klipsch facility. I know there had been an informal poll taken on the Klipsch Forum about a month ago, I think by Trey. The poll indicated a majority of folks were leaning toward Hope over Indy this year. However, I have not heard anything different from the grapevine. So, what's the story on Pilgrimage 2013? Anyone care to expound? -Glenn

It has been a very quite topic this year....

Yeah, I've noticed, especially since I have not been on here as often as I'd like due to homework. Facebook has taken its toll, too as it tends to "demand" attention. I'm expecting to finish school in May, so I will be ready for a break in June unless I am able to find a job first. The pilgrimage sounds like a great way to start my little vacation. Nothing better than a road trip with Verna! :) -Glenn

Trey needs to weigh in here, but the tentative plan is for a weekend in June. Nothing too elaborate or formal. A tour in Hope and just getting together. We'll pick a date soon.

I heard a rumor that you were going to make it down this year to keep us under control and to ensure group picture..

Well, if it includes an exhilarating evening at the Goat Roper, count me in!

It really is as there is nothing like listening to Klipsch in a a room where all surfaces are made of Klipsch speaker cabinet rejects. Very cool room.

  • Klipsch Employees

Email went out today...waiting on others to weigh in...

It is looking like Hope.

The date is still up in the air...Maybe the first week in Aug.

The Hope Watermelon festival takes place then...Give the ladies and kids more to do.

Maybe a bit hotter (if that is possible). We could make it a 50th bd party for me...as my BD is the next week.

OH and I am planning to get hitched in Sept.

Hello folks. Could we get some type of update on what, if any, plans are present (or not present) for Klipsch Pilgrimage 2013? Hopefully not another victim of the sketchy economy.

August weather in Hope would be as bad or worse than August weather in New Orleans. Simply put - not fun at all, due to the expected very high heat and drenching humidity. Plus, no live music and no great food.

Thanx in advance for any info.
