opusk2k9
I have a pair of Klipsch Forte II for sale. A good mid-fi speaker in it's day... these still sound great even though they're looking their age. So they're not in the greatest cosmetic shape... numerous scratches and dings in the finish as you can see in the photos. They could use a good cleaning. Sound-wise, they're great. They'll fill up a large room with the great sound on the mid- and high end that horn drivers can provide. Large woofer and a passive radiator take care of the low end. Very efficient speakers (which Klipsch is/was known for) and with decent power they'll get loud and stay clear. One of the passive radiators was dented by children's fingers. I can't detect a difference in sound quality because of the dents, and I think it's pretty easy to unscrew the radiator and gently pop the paper cone back out it you were inclined to do so. I am the second owner of these. I bought them from a friend when he downsized his house and now I need to do the same... We have a smaller house and these speakers are way too much for the small rooms in our house. Thanks for looking. http://boulder.craigslist.org/ele/3727177908.html No affiliation.
