odysseyrevolver
The audiophile market is built on subjective nebulous crap.
germerikan
Cables can color sound reproduction. Wheather it is good or bad is to each his own. Why it has to be so expensive? "There´s a sucker born every minute." €0,
liebherr954
I thought I'd try Emotiva's X series speaker cables when they had a sale and they are built very well and look very nice but made zero difference over all.
allgonoshow
I thought I'd try Emotiva's X series speaker cables when they had a sale and they are built very well and look very nice but made zero difference over all. I think that probably sums it up for cables, well made, look good, sound the same...
JJkizak
Those that hear differences between cables might be actually hearing impedance differences (mismatches) between electronic units. JJK
nezff
I'll make you some cables and they will sound the same and I won't charge you $1500
babadono
I will say it again like I have in other threads. The only thing that matters in unbalanced inter connects is the resistance of the shield. The lower the resistance the better. Now in speaker wire the only thing that matters is it of sufficient gauge to carry the current you are trying to deliver to your speaker. babadono
Mongo171
There's a store here that has a set of $6K, 6ft speaker cables. I need a longer run than that. Do they make an adapter, female-female, for banana plugs? []
Boxx
Now let's put this discussion in the proper perspective.... They can both get the job done: However, one looks much nice in your set up... lol. It's all in what you want folks to think...
CECAA850
They might BOTH get the job done for you Boxx, but only one does for me[] (the bottom one if you have to ask!)
Boxx
They might BOTH get the job done for you Boxx, but only one does for me (the bottom one if you have to ask!)Without a doubt, the bottom one is the correct choice. Not enough "adult beverages" could help me with the patchcord work needed for the top one to do the trick. [6]
