Daddy Dee
been browsing a bit on HDTracks.com downloaded a couple of samplers and the sound is pretty good to my ears. ran across some (unfamiliar to me) artists in HDTracks top 50 downloads: Patricia Barber Doug MacLeod Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters are these faves of any forum members? anyone listening to them? they were new to me. of course, i have lived a sheltered life. no specific recommendations here yet. just wondering. some good music here. lo123
Try Acoustic Sounds and search for Patricia Barber, her name sounded familiar but have not heard any of her songs. Some of the items are a tad pricey. http://store.acousticsounds.com/

fini
I have a Patricia Barber CD around here somewhere. Kind of a Diana Krall vibe. I'm not familiar with the others, Dee.
Mallette
Doug MacLeod. His "There's a Time" CD recorded by 'fessor Johnson is a reference piece...and damn fine music besides. Dave
thebes
Doug MacLeod is a stellar blues musician. One of my introductions to audiophile pressings (cd in this case) is "Come to Find" and this album is killer, especially when he gets to play with Charlie Musselwhite. Also a great introduction to Audioquest Records.
