80'S MAN
Well Obiwon, I am a person who experimented with some of the most advanced yet basically unheard of audio devices is the 50's. I actually owned 8 (eight) BRADFORD BAFFLES, designed to accommodate 10" drivers. Also I actually owned 8 GOODMANS AXION 80'S which I mounted in the 8 BRADFORD BAFFLES. Remember, this was still "MONO" audio technology in those days, however I built a curved framework, about 10' long x 6' high, to mount the 8 Bradford Baffles, equipped with the 8 AXIOMS. All 8 were driven by a custom transformerless tube amplifier and custom tube pre amp, built for me by a fellow member of CSO. The results were spectacular. I only wish I had the opportunity to build the GOODMANS design 4 speaker cabinets as demonstrated at the Chicago 1956 "HI-FI" show. Sadly, I was young at the time and my parents needed money, so I allowed them to sell everything to an unknown individual who actually offered a very good price, considering it was the economy of the 50's. Oh, if I only still had everything.

One seems to stop waves and the other seems to slow them down, if I understand them correctly.
