lancethibault Posted May 17, 2013 Share Posted May 17, 2013 I've been trying to figure out what sub to get. I'm concerned about putting a rear ported sub in a corner. I see the RW12d says it's a corner ported sub and maybe even front ported, but when I look at pics of the sub I don't see any ports. What am I missing? What am I missing? The RW-12d is front ported. I found this info online. Corner Port technology, in which a D-shaped port tube spans the cabinet from the upper rear to just under the front baffle. By enabling an enclosure to be tuned to a lower frequency, this design can create remarkably deep bass from a fairly small cabinet--and it really works. so you would be fine to place it in a corner.I found a photo showing the ront port From the front you just see a black area under the baffle.
