dimanata2007
Never had sub before and not really looking to make wholeroom shaking, but want to add little bit more lows so even something smallshould be enough for me. Two of my buddies owned Sub-10 and both of them went bad withinfew years. I also see alot of non working Sub-10 for sale. I know that Synergy Sub-12 is very capable, would perfectly match my F-3's and will easily provideenough “BOOM” but I would prefer something more reliable and less powerful to somethingless reliable and more powerful. So, is Sub-12 pretty reliable or both Sub-12 and Sub-10 gotsame issues? What would you pay for 3-4 years old Sub-12? Owner wants$220. TasDom
Personally, I'd pass. For a few bucks more and new with warranty, the RW-12D is hard to beat for the current sale price. Link 279.99 with the promo code

TasDom
d..n, it it cheap... any issues with RW's? There were some shipping / damage issues when they first began the sale a long time ago. They are now double boxing. Here's some history from the Klipsh alert section. http://community.klipsch.com/forums/t/157957.aspx
willland
any issues with RW's? I have owned my RW-10d since 2007 with absolutely no problems at all. The same can be said about my RSW-10D also. I do know of a couple of people that had their RW-12d amp go bad but as mentioned for the crazy low price, you get a 2 year warranty. CECAA850
The Sub 12 had the same amp issues as the Sub 10.

Several folks have the BIC's and are quite content with their purchase. Sounds like a great price to meet your budget. Enjoy!
Scrappydue
Yeah I just got rid of my bic pl-200 and it was a fantastic sub. I just wanted something a bit smaller. Bic is definitely worth the price for sure!
SuBXeRo
I thought BIC was junk?
dimanata2007
I thought BIC was junk? oops...all reviews I've seen stating that BIC make extremely good producr for the $$$. I still can cancel my order. should I? Yeah I just got rid of my bic pl-200 and it was a fantastic sub. I just wanted something a bit smaller. Bic is definitely worth the price for sure! yeah, they say Pl-200 is great sub, but I really don't need wall shaker and wouldn't fell comfy to spend more than $200. SuBXeRo
in my audio travels, i've never come across any reviews for BIC and just assumed they were basically a white van brand and they have always looked like a cheap klipsch knock-off. I ve never heard good or bad things about them let alone actually heard one. My opinion is based solely on image that i feel they portray, nothing more, nothing less. dimanata2007
I had my F-3's for 5 years, recently bought RC-62II and hadChorus II for 5 years and few other towers before that, went through one Sony, one Yamaha and two Pioneer receivers butwould call myself a newbie or person with very limited HT experience anyway. Never owned decent sub, I used 8” Sony and some Yamaha subfor some time but never liked their sound. I’ve heard Klipsch Sub-10, and Sub-12 a lot andprefer sub-12 sound, to me it sounds better, kind heavier and cleaner butsub-10/12 AMP issues scares me to death. BIC sub comes with 5 years warranty vs no warranty if I would gowith used Klipsch. Many reviewers comparing Sub-12 to BIC F-12 and Polk PSW505 (mysecond choice) and vast majority of them agreed that Sub-12 is a bit better performervs F-12 but F-12 is much better choice for HT vs PSW505, especially considering$220-250 price tag and warranty. I could've get BIC PL-200 which is (according to many) betterfor music and movies than Sub-12, but it would be too big, too powerful for myset up and at $300-320 bit pricey for me.I’ve seen new Polk PWS505 for $200 and even missed one on CLfor $120 (at least owner was stating that sub is brand new). For $120 I wouldgo with Polk, but for for $200 I’ve decided to get F-12.Cheapest Sub-12 I’ve seen on CL was $200 and I wasn’t even consideringused Sub-10, like I said sub-10/12 AMP issues steered me away from used Klipschsubs.
