peshewah 74 Posted June 25, 2013 I was raised on fresh milk. Wish I could find someone local who sold it. Its kinda like fresh eggs. Ya gotta love it.
CECAA850 28796 Posted June 25, 2013 I was raised on fresh milk. Wish I could find someone local who sold it. Its kinda like fresh eggs. Ya gotta love it. We used to have an aluminum hinged top box on our front porch when I was little. The milk man would pick up the empties and leave us fresh (quarts?) every day. The milk would seperate in the glass jugs and you could see the cream sitting on the top. I remember saving the cardboard lids and playing with them. Strange concept in todays times. Thaddeus Smith 4465 Posted June 25, 2013 In the next few years I plan on raising goats for milk and meat. We're big fans of goat cheese in this family and goat milk is supposedly great for soap making.
