Kevmosmith Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 These are mono amps. The circuit was designed by Gordon Rankin, based upon the "Baby" Ongaku. (google "Baby Ongaku" to read more about the circuit). I bought them off of Audiogon about three years ago. The builder designed these to look a little like the Garber Fi amps and they look good. The parts selection is good - the transformers are Transcendar, I believe. Tubes are Sovtek 2a3's , vintage RCA rectifiers (5vga4) and Mullard drivers (12at7). A spare set of Sovteks 2a3's. The assembly is very well done and professional. The amps work flawlessly and sound great with the Heritage speakers. Will ship in two boxes - fixed shipping of $50 to the lower 48.
