I am entering the final months of my nearly year long battle with stage 4 colon cancer. It has spread to my liver and lungs.I have had a wonderful life and have two of the finest sons in the world.I also have a sister with stage 4 thyroid cancer and another with pancreatitus. It may conquer our bodies but never our spirts.Cancer has wiped out most of family including my saintly mother nearly 25 years ago.Live your life like today will be your last.Don't wallow in self pity.Smile and laugh at every chance.I have truly enjoyed the Klipsch Forums and the many very good people here.So I say goodbye tonight! Please get the scope done.It is worth the trouble.Peace to all of you here and may God watch over you and your families. Please remember our fighting men and women. My oldest is a Marine stationed in Japan.

So very glad that you have found here a place to be with friends who shared your interests and your friendship. Be as well as you can for as long as you can. Smile and laugh while you can for as long as you can.

I have friends who have died recently and more who are also dealing with cancer, anothor who is 97 this month and wonders every day if it will be her last. The peace and courage they have is an inspiration. Sorry we did not have the chance till now to exchange posts. Thank you for psting. Best regards Moray James.

There really aren't words here. Listening to what you are saying is sort of like standing on holy ground.

Peace to you. Always.

I will say AMEN to that!

A lot of us will be praying for you and your family. Blessings!

I am sorry to hear that you are battling a foe that cannot be defeated and hope that you have fought it to the best of your abilities. Is there a family that has not been touched by this dreadful disease? Make your peace with both God & men and live out your days comforted by the fact that you did the best you could for your family and those you loved.

I read this early this morning, with no time to comment. I thought I may think of something appropriate to say...........I can only say we'll have you in our thoughts and prayers. I have lost many good friends and family to cancer, I hope our grandchildren never have to face it like generations before. Best wishes.......

Thanks for all the very kind words and thoughts.I thank each of you frommy heart.I remember Old Buckster and will tell him hello for you guys. One thing have learned is material thaings don't mean that much.I have been very blessed to have owned most of the Klipsch speakers as well as many others.I miss them but even more than that are all of the fine people I have met with this fascinating hobby.I still listen at least 3 to 4 hours each day,and other than the lord and my family it is my greatest comfort.Take care of your bodies like I should have done.Peace and blessings to the Klipsch brethern.

Sorry to hear the news. Thanks for the advice (I'm way overdue to get "scoped") and thanks also for sharing your insight and giving us all a moment of reflection and perspective. Go in peace.

Hello John, a good friend over in the Right This Minute forum alerted us of your recent note to the group. I knew I had to stop by and meet you, as we have never conversed. I will admit, this is a first for me using the computer in this way, as in the past, with friends and family, there were visits to the hospital. All I can is that you are a brave person and have reached out to the Klipsch community with your heart heavy message.

I can only wish you comfort from our family and your friends through your remaining time on this earth. Know that you will be surely missed by everyone you know and knows you...

Respectfully and with hope,

Gary
