Sancho Panza
worth a LOOK & LISTEN, but they could be Heresy, I've seen some of them with slots on the bottom, like Cornwalls...woofers look mismatched, but they are easily replaced, & I think he's only showing the insides of 1 speaker... Ave Bona Cornwall
The size of the woofer in relation to the horn makes me think Heresy if anything.
davis419b
Looks like a decorator Cornwall to me ! No Heresy I have ever seen has that much distance between the horn and the woofer.
Budman
what davis said, i bet the label says CD-BR cornwall decorator - birch raw from the mid 70's he's a pic from one i used to own from 1976 worth every penny their asking
mustang guy
I would update the caps, seal it up, and work on cherry veneering the exterior. They could be beautiful speakers. It wouldn't be hard to make grilles using either neo magnets or snap-in grill guides. No need for veneer on the motorboard. Glue in some new dust caps. Would be a nice project! I am assuming they are Cornwall decorators. You might make a few bucks, or decide to keep them for yourself.
tlarwa
I sent him an emial asking for some numbers off the drivers and crossover to see what they are. I'll report back.

mark1101
Those look to be a decent pair of cornwalls for the money. If the other speaker is the same that is a good deal.
tigerwoodKhorns
I sent him an emial asking for some numbers off the drivers and crossover to see what they are. I'll report back. You are wasting time and they might be gone, they are cornwalls and if you want them go get them.

opusk2k9
Email the guy through CL. These have actually been posted for several weeks. In Chicago (not the same as elsewhere), if you don't renew the posting, it is deleted after 1 week, the postings can get renewed (bumped to the top) every other day. He renewed the posting yesterday, so they might still be available.
tlarwa
I've emailed the guy several times with no response. I sell a lot of stuff on CL, so I know how it works. They just popped up again, so as you said, he must've renewed the listing. It doesn't happen automatically. We'll see if he gets back to me. opusk2k9
There is a guy in Chicago trying to sell some khorns for months. I emailed him a few times for someone around the forums, he never got back to me. He must have all the messages going to his spam folder. I think they are still posted. Keep trying and good luck. kaiser SET say
Per the add those look to be Decorator Corns and shots inside and out of both speakers. The fourth enterior shot has the wiring run differently than the first three shots and on the front shots I'd say they have different woofers in them, they may not be consecutive or may and have had a woofer replaced. But just by looking at them I'd say they are for sure worth $400[^o)]
colterphoto1
Definitely Decorator Cornwalls. Looks like the oddball K56 mid driver though. Easily worth the money. I should get them.
