paisley26
I happen to find a pair of Klipsh speakers at a yard sale and bought them. The person told me they were older, but they are in excellant condition. There is no label to identify the model. They have the older light green straight speaker plug and a 6-pin din. Does anyone know if these require a sub-woofer like the ProMedia 2.1 OR if they can be used with a desktop system? I can't seem to find a 6-pin din plug on the back of my computer tower. Attached photo. Thank you for any help you all can offer.

Moderators Amy Posted October 28, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 28, 2013 Yes, they require a ProMedia subwoofer to power them.
Moderators Amy Posted October 28, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 28, 2013 ProMedia 2.1 - they do require the subwoofer to power them.
justin_tx_16
You can find ProMedia 2.1 subs on eBay pretty reliably, if memory serves. They sound amazing by the way!
