Home Theater with Klipschorns

Wrench, that center looks really nice. Did you make a slot in the baffle the same as a LaScala? I don't remember ever reading about you building them, I must have gotten some sleep one night. How well does it work with the KHorns?

I really like the center speaker. That is the most clever center design I've seen for big heritage speakers. The flanking bass bins look a bit smaller than Lascalas. Are they?

Thanks

Cut a slot in the baffle?

I mean that the sides are not sealed against a wall. Are they modified with backs attached?

Only one side is on the wall and still sounds good. But with 2-RWS-15's and 2-JBL ES150P's I have enough bass for now. (-:

You made those!!

Let me pick up my jaw from the floor...

Since you made them, why not make backs for the sides that are not sealed off with a wall? I think horn-loaded bass sounds better than direct radiating bass of those subs. Plus, the bass bin handles up to 450Hz; no way the subs will do that or that an AVR will even let you set a crossover frequency that high.

I love the way the Khorns look in your gallery... Man those crossovers take up all the extra room you have too. I bet a lot of hard work went into making them too. Nice work!!
